Maseno University runway model Steve Annex this past Friday celebrated his birthday in an event attended by A-list colleagues including the former SOMU President Fred Makajos , current Mr.Maseno Churchill Okoth ,current Somu Sec Gen Steve Tsuma and celebrated Genge rapper Lang Katalang'.
The expenditure of the night, according to reliable sources, was Ksh 40,000.
The event which began at around 6 pm at the Ravens rooftop club within Maseno Market attracted over 50 guests strictly on invite.
The Friday colorful event marked the end of a feud between Churchill Okoth the sitting Mr.Maseno and the controversial model with claims that the two didn't see eye to eye for a long time.
Steve Annex did contest for the previous Mr. Maseno contest where he lost to Churchill Okoth.
It was however evident that the feud was over and done with the moment the two made peace publicly before their friends in attendance.
It's not clear though who will bag this year's Mr. Maseno contest with Annex returning to the runway to contest for a second time ahead of the event scheduled to happen in a few months but according to Churchill Okoth there will be no reason whatsoever to deny Steve the crown if he proves his worth against all other contestants.
The former Somu President Fred Makajos stressed on matters Makajos Park launch , talent promotion and empowerment during the event but technically avoided speaking about the forthcoming Mr. and Miss Maseno event due to the sensitivity of the issue probably.
The event was crowned by energetic performances from spoken word artiste Mido-Music and Genge rapper Lang' Katalang' who did just but a few lines of freestyle.
