Saturday night of March 23rd was a life changer moment for the two incoming Mr.& Miss Maseno in an event hosted by Churchill Show comedian Sleepy David and one of Kenya's currently most celebrated artistes ,Arrow Boy.

The event which was full of glamour and beauty also had in attendance resident musicians Lang' Katalang ' and Silvano Music both outgoing Maseno students.

However it was a little difficult for Arrowboy who tried his best to keep the crowd wild in no avail.The guest artiste did most of the work unlike for most of our renown musicians.Crowd feedback for him was at zero until a few dancers joined him on stage to enhance his performance.


Poor Arrow Boy would have killed his career right there were it not for the last 45 minutes of his performance.But I would say he still did the best he could though.Kudos Arrow Boy.

After Arrow Boy came the modelling procession category then Flexers followed after which resident musician Silvano Music got on stage with his two songs Gonga and Thighland . He didn't however dissapoint.

Finally when celebrated act Lang' Katalang stepped in to do his usually thing the crowd went wild.His energy has been the most talked about with others claiming his crowd engagement was way too good.The ' Ka Zote' hitmaker also performed his last release 'Umejaza'.

Remember Lang Katalang won 3 music awards last season .Plus we didn't expect a dissapointed from such an experienced student of performing arts.Katalang will be releasing his new music soon under the gifted hands of Producer Symo On the Beat courtesy of Batoz Music Entertainment.

Maseno University this past week became a hotbed of rape, robbery with violence with the students being maimed mercilessly by armed criminals.Other than a few who sustained cuts of different nature ,the case of one female student who was raped by over seven men caught the public eye.

The police crackdown which has since gotten over 15 people arrested in connection to the matter or with other related crimes such as possession of crude weapons and unlawful consumption of illicit brew and hard drugs,is still under investigation.

In connection to this a Maseno University celebrated Emcee known as Jay The Blaze was also handcaffed and thrown onto the passenger carrier of a police landrover.
He is however free now after complying.

According to hearsay the emcee was operating a roadside business without a permit.
So far the Maseno University Security office has hinted out that the group of 9 arrested in connection with a rape incident involving the young female student are majorly non students.
The nine arrested by DCI Detectives include Obed Panyako,Peter Obed,David Ndegu,Okiya Mutunga,Sande Geoffrey ,Peter Amango,Stephen Oloo and Patrick Okada.

They were also caught with stolen chairs,bhang ,pangas and crowbars.

The arrested persons await court hearing  as they continue to stay in police custody.

Award winning genge musician Lang' Katalang' who happens to be Kenya's 52nd most influential University Student according to the 2018/2019 report that was released few days ago by a Moi University Media Students research paper,has this evening posted the very first photo of his baby mama.

Katalang who has constantly posted his daughter Marion Tafana on social media has at last unveiled Mama Tafana's face in a pic captioned "Receive greetings from Mama Tafana .The mother of my daughter"

Katalang won 3 awards in a row last year namely Nairobi Awards Best Male Artiste,Regal Awards Best Male artiste and Umaarufu Awards Genge Sensation of 2018.

Katalang whose song KA ZOTE has been received well by his Kenyan fans across,is known for his bone of contention with Citizen Radio presenter Mzazi Willy M Tuva.A difference which has since been settled.

"Everything was cool between my guy and his gal until she began to make advances on me.She started to flirt a lot .Sometimes she would hit my whatsap inbox claiming to be inquiring about her boyfriend's whereabouts .Then one Saturday morning she made the first call.This time she was straight to the point."I have this bad crush on you and I can't control it anymore. Can I come over to your place one of these days." She said.


I was short of words.Of course I liked her as a friend not really the other way.I didn't find telling my friend about the call necessary.What if she denied the claims and rolled back the dice on me instead.

2 to 3 weekends passed until some evening one Friday evening that she called again.My house was on the 3 rd floor while they stayed on the 5th floor.I heard a knock on my door ,only to open and find a beautifully covered nude woman with boobs popping out in their best of shape.When the shuka she tied around her waist touched down I was helpless.
Everything was right before my eyes in 3D.

Before I knew it we were all over each other with kisses .My bed wasn't far away so she dragged me to bed and oh my she caught up with my 'rungu ya nyayo'. At that point it didn't dawn to me that my door wasn't locked just in case.

She had earlier mentioned that her boyfie was off to town for an impromptu business deal and so a quickie wasn't going to take much time.All this while I could hear her phone ring but overlooked.Perhaps it was my best friend calling his girlfriend or it could have been anyone.

She was over me riding so fast and furious when the door flung open .My eyes met his dissapointed face.But how did he know? Her loud ringtone.It was a unique tone he had personally set for her anytime he called....."Jonnie !!" he shouted my name out..."Nancy" he screamed .. Nancy had locked the door and she want picking her calls so the first place he had to see if a copy of the keys had been left was my place.How could we have failed to notice this.
