REVEALED : WHY LAMBA LOLO CREW 'ETHIC' MIGHT NOT WIN CASE AGAINST KOROGA FESTIVAL-Bonyeza Star

By Mkikuyu Mjaka

Even as temperatures rise as artistes around the country seek justice for Ethic after their Saturday beating  it will be a narrow way out for them considering the group has a history of being lynched in the past.

I want to begin by saying beating a talented artiste is totally uncalled for but for ethic ,inside sources to Bonyeza Star have established what exactly took place at the scene of conflict.

A handful of young unruly youths approach the entrance and without thinking twice confront a bouncer demanding to be let in.Unfortunately the group which to some fans have been identified as ethic music group are still strangers to the bouncers.

Even as the bouncers get to know them they become overwhelmed by the love of their fans and opt to be more rude and reckless.According to the source ethic had no nothing to show that they were invited to perform. No agreement sheet,no tickets,no gate pass no nothing.

But who can we blame for this? As usual bouncers are trained to deal with and respond to such situation but worst of all with full force if the subject proves unruly.

The matter is currently in court but chances are that the blames will shift back to the manager of the group. These questions will definitely arise

1) Why was the group working without proper documentation.
2) Why didn't the group request for a gatepass early enough.
3) Did the crew have to provoke the bouncer so as to get in.
4) Was there communication between ethic and the festival organizers at the time of their entourage.
5) What role did ethic play to warrant their beating.

Anyway it will be difficult to convince the court that they were not acting under the influence of an additional force following sWat admission to the  same weeks ago.
A good lawyer will simply trace Ethic from their history and silence them and they will have no choice but to have an out of court settlement.
All we can advice ethic to do in future is to keep off from public entrance and seek VIP reception in any event they attend. The crew is now too huge for such public embarrassments.
And to whoever is managing ethic. You need to do your job well well. The crew is not a bunch of angels but they need to be shown directions all the time.

Allow me excuse the bouncers who beat up ethic because they were acting under instructions to deal with everyone equally and perhaps there was no enough time for orientations. Many at times we have attended events where bouncers don't even know the performing artistes by face.
