Maseno University runway model Steve Annex this past Friday celebrated his birthday in an event attended by A-list colleagues including the former SOMU President Fred Makajos , current Mr.Maseno Churchill Okoth ,current Somu Sec Gen Steve Tsuma and celebrated Genge rapper Lang Katalang'.

The expenditure of the night, according to reliable sources, was Ksh 40,000.

The event which began at around 6 pm at the Ravens rooftop club within Maseno Market attracted over 50 guests strictly on invite.

The Friday colorful event marked the end of a feud between Churchill Okoth the sitting Mr.Maseno and the controversial model with claims that the two didn't see eye to eye for a long time.

Steve Annex did contest for the previous Mr. Maseno contest where he lost to Churchill Okoth.

It was however evident that the feud was over and done with the moment the two made peace publicly before their friends in attendance.

It's not clear though who will bag this year's Mr. Maseno contest with Annex returning to the runway to contest for a second time ahead of the event scheduled to happen in a few months but according to Churchill Okoth  there will be no reason whatsoever to deny Steve the crown if he proves his worth against all other contestants.

The former Somu President  Fred Makajos stressed on matters Makajos Park launch , talent promotion and empowerment during the event but technically avoided speaking about the forthcoming Mr. and Miss Maseno event due to the sensitivity of the issue probably.

The event was crowned by energetic performances from spoken word artiste Mido-Music and Genge rapper Lang' Katalang' who did just but a few lines of freestyle.

MEET GOSPEL MUSICIAN GLADYS NJOKI WAWERU -Bonyeza Star

Gladys Njoki Waweru is a songwriter and a singer , born and raised  in Nakuru Kenya .She is a promising gospel musician . Gladys began  her career in late 2016 .By  2017 she had already recorded a few  singles  .

As campus politics rises to a climax in Maseno University ,the Dwaleh Law is still a factor to consider leaving many aspiring campus politicians stranded as to what will unfold after the delegation cast.

Maseno University this evening coiled an outfit dubbed Sabasaba as House of Sirikwa and House of Rasamu spoke one voice as they endorsed their best candidates for the race.

In the race of SC Sports and Entertainment ,the Sultan ,better known as Tony Collins finally got even more closer to victory leaving his competitors wallowing in independent solitude.

Tony Collins has been the man to watch ever since he began his quest for the one of the most vital of SOMU offices. Leaving no stone unturned and no event unattended.

The third year student of Drama and Theatre Studies admits the race hasnt been easy upto this point, especially with the continuous de-campaigning trend witnessed from his rival camp.

Tony Collins however is keen on putting his mouth where his ears belong and glaring his eyes to the final whistle blower ,the delegate.

Speaking to Bonyeza Star this evening Tony exhibited total confidence in his team notwithstanding his likelyhood to lure more followers even if the Dwale law would be scrapped off.

His tactical moves in conjunction with chain of connection in the university is unexplained.A man of the people they call him except for his down to earth and remorseful lifestyle.

Tony Collins is not only a sound engineer but also and actor and talent promoter . He hails from the House of Sirikwa from whose endorsement came overwhelming support. That aside he is a darling of all regardless of tribe .

Sabasaba outfit comes at a time when campus chairman Fred Makajos and his Secretary General counterpart Linus Sang are keen on replacing the incumbent with a more stronger force than the current regime's Zagazaga.

Other big harvesters of the Sabasaba outfit include Mugah (Presidency) , Wesly (Sec Gen),Immaculate ( Treasurer) , Tumbo ( Gender ) among  others

BS:Who exactly is Christian Prince

C.P : Am a bongo  artiste, who  appreciates and loves talent currently penetrating the music market with my singles  'Usiende' and 'Dogo dogo' which have  a great impact to my personal life.

B.S : Any challenges you have faced so far in the industry ?

C.P : Even though there have been a few challenges  since childhood ,I have never  lost  hope especially after being accepted  into AG Media House courtesy of Producer  Tony Touch.His  flavor has given me  me a turn around to forget my past and press on.

B.S : Tell us about your musical journey 

C.P : My life in music has been a challenge. I began way back in high school. Back then I was very young and people who were in a better position to help me  at some point became my biggest rivals  and it wasn’t easy.

B.S : How did you get in touch with Producer Tony Touch ?

C.P:  Actually when  I was at  Safi Records.Life then became a long way when we tried  to record songs but many things were missing. I  did not lose hope .I kept  on struggling to make sure my talent   brought a  great difference in my life.

B.S : You happen to have recorded at E.M.B Records recently, are you looking forward to be their artiste too.?

C.P :After a short while I got some support when I recorded  a new hit 'Dogo dogo' with  EMB Records which had a great impact in  my life and music career .However I still thank Tony Touch for coming in to help me market the Dogodogo single .

Usiende however is a song I want to say is going to put me at par with some of the icons I look upto musically.

From a beginner to a household name.Charly Toz is a breakthrough artiste currently controlling a bigger section of the Migori County showbiz.Mr.Chendorous as he is now known was at our Bonyeza Star offices this afternoon to answer one two many questions regarding his overwhelmingly growing music career.

B.S : We have seen you break a number of codes to earn yourself a place in the competitive music market of South Nyanza.Remind us about your journey.

C.T : I wrote my first song in 2009 way back in Primary school.My peers loved my art hence the source of my motivation to do the song Penye Nia in 2010 . After my 844 I did Dong aeri which was also received well.I however started as a gospel artiste before joining the contemporary secular world of music.

B.S :You were also a member of TYD. Does the group still exist?

C.T : Yes of course I am a co founder of TYD which consisted of Emcees,comedians,dancers,Djs,musicians and the list is endless.Together we did a number of roadshow tours across Nyanza towns.

B.S : Does the TYD still exist?

C.T: That is a story for another day.Am happy all individual members are doing well in their different fields.Lemme say TYD is one of the few great things that ever happened to Migori Showbizness

B.S : Reliable sources link your feud with Triple S to conning.Who conned who?

C.T : Am glad you brought that issue up.For your information I was conned by fellow artiste  Tripple-S and still ended up in remand for about 2 weeks.The dude conned me Ksh 30,000 .This is one terrible experience I will never forget.Thank God for protecting me in police custody.

B.S : You were quoted on record claiming you will never forgive him for that.Don't you believe in forgiveness?

C.T: I don't even know why we are still talking about some unapologetic conman.God is my witness,certain things cant just be taken lightly.

B.S : Could that be a threat?

C.T : No comment.

B.S:  Enough of that,so tell us about your glory moments in the game.

C.T: Having shared same stage with some of the biggest names in Kenya among them,King Kaka,Willy Paul,Dufla Diligon and many more.

B.S: Locally who else have you worked with?

C.T: Crity RDE,Ting Ting,Rojay C, Jonnyman,Shy Mavako,Lil Chocolate,Siri K,Young Brill,Acemall,Bronze and many others.

Last Sunday the Roan Rooftop campus event hosted by Mr and Miss Maseno 2017 ,Churchill and Cheptoo was a guduwan showcasing not only for the duo but for Kisumu talents as well.

The event has so far been well received after weeks of hype and thurer marketing.

The last weekend kick off was attended by Kisumu's Mc Nyawawa ,Mc General Kisoi from Maseno,music performance from Kevo and Sherine of Maseno,spoken word by C.E.O and an energetic performance by Eugine MCK.

Also in attendance was  the kisumu super runway model Damiro.

Djs Rabah of Roan , Vinci and Antonio from Maseno were also in the house to ensure the revelers got a run for their quality time .
