TREY SONGZ TRADES FOR A PHOTO WITH A NAIROBI STREET KID AT $50

Trey Songz is in Kenya finally but unfortunately for him ,a few
facebook  critics are not happy with the photo of himself and a street
begger ( kid) and himself  with the caption

" This little dude was alone with his empty cup in busy downtown
Nairobi and he just looked at me and smiled as we were walking .I gave
him the equivalent of like $50 . then I asked him if I could take a
picture with him.Something about how big and beautiful his spirit was
while holding an empty cup put a lot of things in perspective for
me.Overwhelmed with gratitude in these moments.Love my people so much

Then quickly comes these two honest responses from a couple of critics

TAPILA MFINANGA - "I hate it when all these celebrities come to Africa
and look for destitute to take pictures and come back to their
countries to give out stereotype testimonies of African poverty.Most
African Americans believe Africans live in trees.Lemmie say this cute
Kenyan little boy doesn't look like a street urchin to me.Does that
look like a hungry kid to you? That kid smiled at Trey Songz coz
  Africansare charitable people and they are nice to foreigners"

AMANDA LOUISE- "Yes $50 is a  lot to that one child but surely if you
cared you could do more to bring him out of poverty and having to beg
on the streets . $50 is not alot for you am sure

Meanwhile  Thanks Trey for rocking the Harambee Stars Jersey  but then
to begin with , those who come from where I come from would say
'umejiroast' meaning you have roasted yourself.The intention and
timing was quite perfect but we don't expect you to talk about it.Let
the media do it for you.In Africa we do good and go our way.Ask
Christina Shusho and Ringtone they'll tel you 'tenda wema nenda zako'

Secondly you make  it look like you were trading for a photo ,taking
advantage of the kid's desperate situation to tell Kenyans that you
are in town.No dude this is the way to go about it in kenya,CMB Prezzo
 ,Jaguar ,Akodhee,are all good at this one too . -Listen.Hire  a
secret cameraman and let him have a photo of you and the boy  with the
money in the picture of course,then leak it out with Ghafla or
Cyprian Nyakundi

Thirdly instead of quoting the actual amount  you offered the boy.I
think you were supposed to tell Kenyans and the world that you gave
the little boy all  you had at your disposal so that you leave us
guessing,

All in all we love you Trey Songz ,more-so your beautiful music  but
then again what we expected  with the boy could have been sponsorship
or adoption to make it news.Sorry dude if I intruded but I mean no
harm,am still a fan
