THE UNTOLD STORY :EX AL- SHABAAB RECRUIT KILLED DURING MASENO UNIVERSITY DEMOS WAS A LUO AND NOT MNYORE AS EARLIER SAID

Maseno University students just recently resumed studies after a two weeks holiday brought about by the bad blood between the students and the community. The strike which led to looting and burning of business premises owned by the locals has come to an end though with a few locals still promising to strike an  avenge  mission.A close source to Bonyeza Star who was also a good friend of the deceased killer ,one Josh, opened up to us about the late. Before Hacking one Njoroge ,a student of Maseno University, to death ,Josh is believed to have been Njoroge's source of weed or better known as Marijuana.The two had a customer –supplier relationship until the unbelievable happened.That fateful evening Njoroge and Josh had a disagreement over some of Josh missing stuff or stock to be precise and after an altercation Josh began beating Njoroge mercilessly to the point of  hacking the latter neck with a machete.Luckily enough for Njoroge’s sympathizers they met Josh carrying the body of his client with the aim of disposing off the corpse but unfortunately for the weed master it was too late.He was forced to curry the body back to his house where the group of students linched him to death.Meanwhile the action taken by the student body to destroy property believed to be belonging to Wanyore was out of misinformation. Rumor went round that Josh was a Luhya ,precisely Mnyore but then our     research reveales  that Josh was a wanted criminal who escaped from police custody many times before settling at Mabungo. A very close friend a client to the late Josh also narrated to us how the Killer spoke fluent Luo to the extent he even had a wife and a kid both speaking Luo but with a bit of Swahili accent also associated with his staying at the coast.His  other family members who are also luo also ail from mabungo area.Josh was a recruit of the Al Shabaab outlawed group who decided to lie law once he realized the police were after him.Chances as to whether he had been to Somali to meet the Al-sShabaab masters is not known .Neighboring community around Maseno have also attested to the fact that Josh was Luo and not Mnyore and have urged the student body especially student leaders to restore the peace that used to exist between them.
