This morning a marathon was
held at the Garissa University marking two years after the institutions
deadly attack .

The attack took over 147 lives on 2nd April 2015

Later the ceremony was enveloped in a joint
prayer from diverse cultures and religions within Garissa university in honor of
both the fallen victims and the living survivors
Other sister universities across the country also held their
prayers commemoration for those who lost
their lives.

Maseno university was also not left behind as a section of
the students body converged at the popular Lecture Hall 15 (LH15) on Sunday evening
at the vasity’s Millenium Complex to light candles in remembrance of their
fellow comrades.

The Students Ogarnization of Maseno University SOMU was also
well represented with it’s vice president Isaac Kinywa also in attendance.
