Mr. & Miss Maseno panelist is allegedly reported to have dropped out one
potential contestant basing his actions on a past disagreement with his
ex-girlfriend who happens to have been one of the models. According to the
female model,
“
Soon after we realized we had been
dropped out of the contest he asked us if we had any complains hence requested
that anyone with a question to ask should see him in person immediately so as
to get the reason behind it all. When it reached my turn to ask him about my
own reasons he said he was in no moods of speaking to me and was not going to
speak to me at all. That’s how I realized he had used our past unsettled chores
to make lame Judgment hence locking me
out of the competition. I will not do anything about the matter but all I know
is that my dreams are valid. One day I will still make it be it within or outside
Maseno.” She remarked .
Unfortunately
for the male judge the issue has since spread around the entire campus with
comrades demanding that he drops his tools too and let justice be done to the
female model.
The
two day activity which saw the Main Campus student center get hyped up with
lots of runway stunts and thrilling performances from local talents, I must say
was marred with many cases of unprofessionalism. Hence leaving many giving
their remarks such as :
I hope the MR/MISS MASENO auditions were carried out in a
free, accountable and transparent manner.

In 2015 the admin insisted that for one to contest in
SOMU elections you must have a mean grade of grade B.
Mr and Miss Maseno are SOMU members by default .My
question is are all these contenders having grade B in their transcripts?

Another reliable source
also claims that one of the male judges also used his powers to award his own
girlfriend a place in the soon to go down competitions amid academic merit
anomalies.
“Anyone who was keen enough during the wrapping up
should have seen how the female model was literally made to evade questions.
All she was asked was her name and told to leave the red carpet” explained the reliable
source
This leaves us with the
big questions.
Should the whole process
be cancelled or a commission of inquire formed in order to look into the
conduct of the male judges ?
