From half baked infrastructure , to unclear tendering procedures all the way to misappropriated funds leading to dubious accumulation of wealth to endless mentions at the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission sandwiched with numberless court battles and the black list is endless.
Migori Governor Okoth Obado has a lot to explain to the well informed group of County's men and women as far as accounting for his last 5 years in office is concern .

Forget the infamous president Uhuru heckle or even the fight that emerged between Junet ,Orengo and Obado's team at the onset of County Administration.
What about the recent bullet exchange and gun drama that saw Joho's bodyguard loose one of his legs during Ochilo Ayacko's campaign launch ?
That tells you the number of battles the incumbent Governor has fought to protect his status quo in preparation for a re-election including a state of the art Party Office as a way to show his remorselessness seeking for apathy.But wait a minute ,Migori is not the kind of place you clinch to power and sleep on it . in Migori power is guarded day and night .And that's exactly what Obado has succeeded in .
Okoth Obado is technically a back door Governor having ridiculously won a highly contested court battle against Professor Oyugi Akongo to become the first Governor of Migori. Money talks they say.
The mere fact that he built his political platform on a PDP ticket is enough to explain why Suna East Mp and himself have not been friends for long except for now that party has planted plastic smiles on both their faces though the rift is still evident .

Experts have linked Obado's boldness to having an outspoken wife and with strong pillars characterized by county machinery like the Deputy Governor and County Secretary.A plus on his side.
However Raila Odinga is very much aware of the political divide between the Jubilee team and his ODM influence in Kuria. It's quite evident from the last general election's voter turnout that the ODM Party leader didn't really harvest enough votes from Kuria since statistics has it that Uhuru Kenyatta floored Raila in the Kuria vote quest thus building a huge rift between ODM and Obado ,Migori being a focal point.
If you still do not get the math get it right. . The master plan has already been crafted .After all they know the gates to ODM Orange house open when one coughs out money . Only God knows what lies behind August doors.I still doubt if Obado himself will cast a Raila vote.
Obado felt betrayed by Raila in the previous nomination exercise which saw the party leader front for professor Oyugi triumph but unfortunately for the NASA flag bearer ,Obado would eventually kill the Raila factor and deliver to the Jubilee team. That doesn't make him a god either. We all know who Raila is.A true enigma.
Meanwhile ,Raila is very much aware of the influence Obado has on the Kuria block and the necessity of Kuria votes much as Ochilo Ayacko and Raila are undoubtedly strong political allies who could possibly shake hands after August each having clinched their gubernatorial and presidential seats respectively and successfully .

Ochilo Ayacko has indeed proven to be the only candidate worth Obado's time bearing in mind the incumbent has acquired a vast range of resources needed to propel his re-election,which include staging a temporary affiliation with the Oburu's and the Ida's for the sake of a re-election bid through briefcase closed-doors. And like my Luo
friends would say 'Awacho Ayweyo' ,Hence all he needs for a competitor is one with a solid political and leadership history like that of Ochilo.
Politically ,Obado is just leaving his nursery for Primary 1. And let it be known that neither Raila or Ochilo Ayacko has regrets whatsoever concerning NASA or INDEPENDENT decisions.
Raila Odinga however is torn between Obado and Ochilo based on party policies but given that his heart wants Ochilo Ayacko to clinch the seat ,the former Awendo MP might as well get it the hard way. Obado is not the clumsy type . The son of Kanyamkago will never bury his head in the sand no matter what come may .
Obado and Odinga happen to be more of partners than master-servant allies much as Ochilo Ayacko doesn't seem to focus on the Raila sycophancy to rise to power.His loyalty to Raila however is quite evident .
The ground has given him the go ahead despite the untold story of how Obado tactfully made his way into the ODM nomination ticket amid numerous unmentionable tactics.
Ochilo Ayacko however has witnessed a successful campaign trail county wide hosting mammoth crowds from all corners in the last few days of course with his hard earned resources unlike speculations about Obado's attempts transport peoples from all over the county and outside to fill up for the lost numbers.
Having acquired an unimaginable questionable range of resources gives Ochilo upper hand though naive and blind loyalists believe money will work Obado's way including claims that he re brands vehicle number plates in the night to avoid penalties of misuse of county resources.
On the other hand reliable sources have linked Ochilo Ayacko to Orange House most preferred for the Migori gubernatorial race since Obado's loyalty to Jubilee could still be felt in the next Government if he was to be re elected.Orange house is burning the midnight oil to ensure they have their preferred candidates win the August elections despite having cashed in huge cheques and favors from political stumbling blocks like Obado .
Obado's has also typically dined with the whos and whos in the media fraternity buying his way into a clean track record with turns out more fake than realistic.He is yet to feature on Parents,Drum or even Forbes if need be.

Truth be told ,he has succeeded in brainwashing the Migori electorates through mainstream and local media who have since lost touch with integrity thus out to enrich themselves by all means possible.Unlike a chosen few.
Ochilo Ayacko on the other end appears to be careful with his campaign strategies with an intention of winning the race without a fight . A lot has been said about the former Minister but he appears unshaken however his dark side if anything could be sandwiched with more rumor than facts on the table.
Much as Kuria may be in for the worst division ever,Kenyans in general are fed up with the jubilee antics therefore the well informed Kurians will vote for Raila except for the ardent Jubilee/Obado sycophants who could be a handful by now.
I therefore find it unworthy of the Odinga's to think Obado needs another 5 years of bad governance ,wealth accumulation and party disloyalty yet Ochilo Ayacko stands a better chance of reaffirming good leadership,Governance and Party loyalty. This is a message to Ida Odinga and Oburu Odinga especially.
I do believe Ochilo Ayacko will re-build Migori County and diligently serve the people.
My Kuria people have also sworn to kick out President Uhuru Kenyatta and replace him with Raila and the same will happen to Obado . Raila's cling to Obado is just a taste of bad water meant to spoil '' Joshua's '' sensitivity to solid party unity and strength.
Our focus is not just on the deputy Governor slot or Jubilee Governor candidate ,but to see to it that the common mwananchi is living a better life soon after elections . The practice of impressing your loyal electorates is out of question . After elections we are all equal since we collectively contribute towards building of this noble county..
Currently the only song familiar with the Kuria East and West streets is that which says '' Pesa Kwa Obado.Kura Kwa Ochilo.Pesa Kwa Uhuru .Kura Kwa Raila''
Ochilo Ayacko will definitely win with at least 59 Percent of the total votes cast according to recent opinion poll .
Pro Obado followers were overheard saying Ochilo Ayacko is only popular withing towns and town centers forgetting the Former MP is deeply rooted in the interior parts of the County . Doesn't mean Obado is sleeping on his job either.Although the latter might end up crying foul of the resources he wasted seeking re -election or rather would have written himself a handsome package into retirement.
Time for the sleeping dog to lie. Wake me up when Dr.Ochilo Ayacko is finally sworn in as the new Governor for Migori County.
