LEAKED : FIND OUT WHICH KISUMU ARTISTE HAS TURNED INTO A PERPETUAL BEGGAR

By Mkikuyu Mjaka

Begging is a common practice especially among  the third world countries.Come on the economy here doesn't really  favor most of us although among the able few who are wealthy are quite a number of corrupt Government officials and civil servants.I'm tired of mentioning cartel radio and tv presenters who have in the past become rich overnight. The rest are super geniuses who either survive through dirty deals or questionable professions. Lemme save you the extras .Did you know that there is a  Showbizness rule  that says," Fake it before you make it,as long as you are not caught faking it" .God forbid if by any chance you feel this is a plot to bring a hardworking fellow African downBelieve you me, not we all fall victims of brokenness at some point in life  and I must say it takes a preservering heart to deal with such circumstances. For public figures especially performing acts it even much worse since people might not take your situation lightly.Wait a minute ,what if the person expected to be the beggar turns arrogant and mouthy? That's where Bonyeza Star comes in.

Before we take you to the A-Z about this whole story be rest assured we did an intensive  investigation and made sure we were dealing with a legit occurrence. From valid social media accounts to valid friends or so to say.How we got the screenshots should not  worry you .No one's account was hacked and if so be then it should have been reported long way before we laid our hands on these .screenshots. That's what we do for living.

Kisumu rapper June Rapsha is facing a similar situation .Embarrassing  though we still had to air it to the world to see.after all that's what we are best at. Bonyeza Star strikes when you hardly think we can .Lemme begin by confirming if the below profile picture belongs to Kisumu rapper June Rapsha the  Donge and Tibim himaker  . If you are lucky enough to read this before he does, you are l because you will be able to do the comparison before he deletes the profile picture eventually from his Facebook profile album  so as to prove a point so read this fast enough .

June Rapsha's facebook profile picture

Lets proceed with business. The artistes feels like getting some small money from a friend and begins by asking for the chumz very remorsefully .

Screenshot 1
Wait a minute again did I hear Cheque  ya Ksh 120,000 ? If am not wrong some of us have dwelt with cheques of up to half a million when dead broke. What I did,I banked the cheque then went straight  to Credits office to apply for an advance. This is a usual practice that many people resort to so the issue of 120k cheque to me sounds like a some cliche storo. Ama mnaonaje ?Lets continue.

Screenshot 2

Anyone who has lived where I live before will tell you you just don't ask for money to be transferred to a number and they do it immediately.people have to question fishy ways of getting money such as this.First of all you have a cheque and now you think you can convince someone that you were able to do an expensive video without remaining with a thao bob to upload it.You are roasting yourself dude .Come on revise your tactics. We know uko mbaya but try and be creative enough. Tuendelee !!

Screenshot 3

Oh my goodness..now this is what it means to be broke. You really need the money but you lack proper words to let it come from  a second party's pockets.Poor June Rapsha anyway lets see what happens after this .Uchumi ni mbaya kweli .

Screenshot 4

This is the part that I have been waiting for ,' Kama hutaki kunitumia acha' . Good people of God where did our manners go really. You decide to ask for money  and when the person you are begging from becomes so inquisitive you start making utterances that are so unpleasant even to your own self.Mimi kwisha.., you give me an  attitude such as this I go straight ahead  into making conclusions that that is the same way you will behave when payback time comes.Block you pap .I don't waste time with you.Too good for June Rapsha he found a lenient friend.Aha,what happens next !

Screenshot 5
Hahahahah .Look at what we have here people .'From nisaidie to Umenikosea sana .How do the two even make a broke pocket full.Dude you went too far,I think June forgot he was demanding for his money back and not requesting for help.Africans you will kill me. Alafu mtoi naye akameza glass saa ngapi(when did the kid swallow apiece of glass). Change of tactics I see.Did it really work though?

Screenshot 6
Kenyans can be so crazy with their sympathetic emotions.I think this was a guduwan for the broke ass rapper .Sorry I hear back in Kisumu they call him King Wa Rap.Someone is reminding that they do not call him,he calls himself.whatever all we know is that he is a great artiste, staging numerous shows and roadshows like no one's business. Acheni June na Crown yake watu wa kisumu please. But before that acheni tumalizane na yeye hapakwanza.

Screenshot 7
This sounds like one of those predictable Nollywood movies to me.How dare you ask me for help and when I give you the 'really' thingie you threaten to block me.For God's sake what are you still doing in my friend list .This guy went ahead to hit the nail on the head when things became to difficult for him to handle .Zile doo za show we hupeleka wapi ?(what do you do with the money you earn from shows).Too bad for the Kisumu star ,His whole chat had  already been copy pasted even before he sent the guy to his blocklist  .Poor June Rapsha.I tell you ujanja ni kitu muhimu sana.

Screenshot 8

No comment .This should have come somewhere at the beginning but we chose to let it come last .I wonder which fake caller asks you to confirm his truecaller. In short June Rapsha is confirmed to be the bearer of this interesting chat.Next time you need a loan bro .Find the right words to convince the other side otherwise a repetition of this might fall in our hands again.Meanwhile incase you have gone through a similar occurrence before let us know via bonyezastar@gmail.com

MUGABE : I cannot argue with someone who has invited a socialite to the White House to become the First Lady.

MUSEVENI : It is raik Magufuli making Wema Sepetu First Lady of Tanzania or Uhuru making Vera Sidika First lady of Kenya .In Africa socialites are for sponsorship programs onre.

I CHOSE TO LISTEN TO MORE OF PEPE MINAMBO THAN PEPE KALE & MORE OF CHRIS KIRUBI THAN KRISTOFF.

By Brian Otieno

Listening to good advice and a success story is more or less the same as swaging up in  your  Dr.Dre headphones while listening to your favourite  music.Child Hope taught me so .Someone please  tell me am wrong ! Oh yes am right .

PEPE MINAMBO

Pepe Minambo

We are all set and ready for a speech from a guest we have never seen before. From the look on our faces we expect a great person, one of the who’s and who’s of this country .Little do we know that great things come in small packages. Am reminded by this common phrase used by Mkikuyu Mjaka . The man walks in with a company of well dressed mates in black .Tall and light skinned he is, sits down facing his audience .He greets us and proceeds to tell us about our expectations of the day. Wow ! by the time he holds the microphone in his hands it comes to my realization that we are all down for something serious. Then he begins “If your dream as a person isn’t to be successful then you better soul search for an appropriate answer. Every young man’s ambition is to be successful, but many don’t know what it takes to get there. If I may say everything in life is risky. By that I mean you have to take a risk at any one given point in life. You have to focus on one thing at a time in order to gain the rest .They say life is like a city. A city full of highways and street paths but what counts is the particular lane on which one walks on. Life is full of cross-roads and very many obstacles conceived into this world. You were given an opportunity equal to your sisters and everyone else you see around. That means we literally all begin from one common point but as days go certain people stand to throw stones at dogs while others surge forward to find their reason to live in the world .What counts in this life we live is how we come out of situations .At one point in life you fall .When you fall down the best remedy is to pick yourself up ,dust your clothes and lick your wounds and above all move on. They say again that the poorest man on earth is a man without a dream and ambition. Ask yourself, do you have something to die for? If you don’t have then you are not worth living. You sit down and wonder at times why you are so poor. The problem could be you remember that. Find yourself and avoid the word poor like a plague since poor itself stands for
P- Passing
O- Over
O-Opportunities
R-Regularly

A man is not measured by the material wealth he has, they say ,but by the value of what his brains hold. Always try as much as possible to make decisions that can bring positive change to not just you as an individual but also to the society. Strive so hard to bring the change you may wish the world to experience. If I may ask, how many would choose wisdom over money? I know many will go for money. Wisdom can withstand the test of time that which money cannot. The best gift a man can have is to believe in him .Do you believe you can? If you don’t, what is the problem because people without hands have grown to become pilots and here you have all your limbs yet you choose to be a village fool. Young man you got to wake up and realise your dream.

CHRIS KIRUBI

Chris Kirubi

He happens to be one of the richest men in the continent yet still spares time to share out his success story with the world. A rich man’s special time spent with young brains is better than than 365 and a quarter days of bad politics .. In his own words Chris Kirubi says,

“My ambition is to impact knowledge in a million ways .A typical day for me is a day made of decisions .You may wonder what decisions. Life is made of decisions, you decide to be poor, the choice is yours. You chose to be the richest man in the world then there you go you are the solution. Make the right decisions and all righteousness will follow you.”
Chris Kirubi ,Kenya’s first billionaire says that for you to be successful  in anything you do, you must first set your life to be guided by roadmaps ,routed by good decisions and always walk in the company of great people  and you will achieve all your dreams. He further says that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. According to him we were all created for greatness hence its prudent to live as per the standards set by the almighty.

IRENE MUREITHI

Irene Mureithi

Given chance definitely I would love to walk in the shoes of this awesome lady. This is a story of a lady who should have lived a miserable life but instead decided to walk her own path to greatness. She currently runs her own company despite having worked as a banker for ten years and happened to have saved about ksh10,000 ,why? Many might wonder, what a regular mwananchi goes through is only felt by the mwananchi herself and such is like in the story of Irene Mureithi. Allow me go back to the main point.

” Life is a puzzle. One has to work up his mind to find solutions to his problems. Greatness is a personal choice, remember you are responsible for every decision you make in life. Remember choices have consequences, good or bad it’s your decision. My decision to speak to you doesn’t qualify you to a successful life. What pushes you to greatness is your initiative. I have spoken yes .what you do about what I say is what counts.”

BISHOP ALLAN KIUNA

Bishop Allan Kiuna

Listening to this Televangelist could shed light to a dying soul. He says, “Every young man’s dream is to own a flashy car, nice home and a beautiful family. All wonder why other families are happy while others sad. Happiness is created .It is not all about fancy cars, nice suits and clothes. A nice bungalow and the rest is just about knowing yourself, what you love ,what you can do and what you cannot do. That’s your purpose and above all having some nice company beside you. Company you wonder: These are people who share your dreams, aspirations ,ambitions and failures to. These are people who stick with you in times of happiness and in times of sadness. If you have friends who do not tell you what you are doing wrong, abandon them and go for those who point out  all the bad things in you for they are the ones who have good intentions  for you. Define your purpose in life and you will achieve greatness you desire in life  and never be afraid of being different. It is through your being difference that you will go places People have never been to. You will achieve things people feat or never dared to tackle .Above all always be a go-getter and you will achieve your soul wishes.

IAN MBUGUA

Have you ever pictured yourself when successful? It doesn’t come on a silver platter. It is earned. This is a lesson from a humbled guy with great ideas though. Ideas that can change the world and leave a story to be told to generations to come. The story of one Ian Mbugua, from being a street boy in Thika Town to a successful banker and finally a company owner. “ What will the child you once were, think of the adult you are now. If the child you once were will not be proud of you then I bet you should not be listening to this. Strive so hard that each day you improve your original self. Strive so that you don’t remain in your original state today, tomorrow and the future .2016 is coming to an end soon. Do not waste your time thinking of the bad things you did. Worry more about things you can do and above all think positively about everything. Find respect in yourself and you will earn it from the people around you. Success is built similar to a house .Find what you are passionate about and get grounded on it. Work hard towards your dream and ultimately everything will work your way.

Thanks to CHILD HOPE .

THE UNSPOKEN TRUTH BEHIND KENYAN SHOWBIZ SUPERSTAR DEATHS

Poxy Presha

By Mkikuyu Mjaka

Ever walked into a club and suddenly the music goes off ?Thats exactly what happens when musicians die.We grieve them for life much as we have their music to listen to but will never get the opportunity to hear from them again.
Taking you back to the rise of Kenyan Showbiz and it’s pioneer artistes, some of whom have since departed ,a few of whom have also quit music for other ventures and others still going strong in the lucrative world of performance. Today we take a good look at these three legendary artistes .Much about them is already on the public domain though there might be a section of their life story either masked or erased from the public eye. ...... I have hardly taken two spoons of  my usual  chapo mandondo ,as you all know this combination is  my favorite , not because am a struggling  Kenyan but because my money ends there .Ten these two noisy guys  decide to join my table. I expect them to be chanting  either football of politics but hell no. They are discussing something very interesting. On their way to my usual small restaurant seems like they must have bumped on an old  hit song , probably of a legendary Kenyan musician. The names Poxy Presha, Wicky Mosh and Mighty Kingkong keep making rounds in their series of chants and so I get more and more interested. The mention of the songs Otonglo Time, Atoti and Unbwogable makes me attracted to the story even more. This time I choose not to contribute but ask questions after the other.I realize much as am very farmiliar with the three fallen heroes,I still miss a part of their lives. They then begin  to tell it all after promising to spoil them with one more chapatti each.I’d rather kasirisha the nduthi guy and walk home than miss out on this important information. Story begins  as the one time famous hit song “Atoti “ is playing from one of the electronic shops just adjascent to our micro- intercontinental stop over .This time am keen enough.

´Poxy Presha was a South Nyanza  born and raised though he began his music career in Nairobi. He was buried at a place known as Nyabisawa  .I remember very well how the Music Copyright Society Of Kenya (MCSK) raided major music shops and Computer rooms at his backyard  soon after his burial. That day anyone found to have vilated the copyrigtht law or whatever the lawyers call it,was charged a fine of ksh 20,000.I think I was one of the business people who were involved with the computer services business. Back then we used to burn music CDs and do a lot  of typesetting  leave alone these days when movies and betting have shed more light to the business. The operation was one of a lifetime I swear.
For once I thought it was a noble idea ,I mean musicians need to earn from their works but then again on the other end I felt like it was a plot to cover up on Poxy Presha’s death. We had all the rights to mourn our fallen son Poxy  but MCSK  chose to inflict more pain into our wounds.
During the last moments of his life and  career he strongly advocated for the rights of Musicians  however few ,especially on the side of royalties and falling victims of bad promoters and managers .Poxy Presha died penniless  despite the amount of effort he put on his works. His music were on immense rotation on Kenyan radio stations until the unexpected happened .He would  then fall out with his promoter over the a few vital  issues he advocated for some of which were strongly spelt out in the lyrics of some of his songs. A scenario which saw poxy fall from the top all the way back to the bottom. His music was withdrawn from all mainstream media ensuring that he had meager royalties to take home besides being blacklisted from major shows. Other than just having a feeling that someone took advantage of his desperate situation before his last breath ,as a person I have a feeling his promotional team back then may have known the cause of his death  even if they did not participate directly .Lemmie not call it murder since it’s not confirmed yet. This is something that has since left us with many unanswered questions as to weather someone really had a hand in his death or did Poxy Presha just die a natural death after things went from bad to worse for him. I am not making accusations or rather insinuating  and we are not going to mention names here. We lost a star indeed .His contributions into the freedom our performing and recording artistes enjoy today will forever be remembered. Poxy Presha might have died poor but a here for sure. I remember also how he was vocal about the very bad promoters who had a tendency of eating up artiste’s moneys up to 99% leaving the musicians to take less than 1%.So sad.”

Then comes a sudden silence with a worrying facial expression  from both. Maybe I had not met my end of the bargain. Their mandondo plates were begging for more chapatis and I have  to act fast for me to get the second part of the story. Here we go again, this time with the second jamaa who decided to talk with food in his mouth but I had to persevere.

“I got to know Wickie Mosh  after he did the song Atoti  .It was a major hit .After some time Wickie Mosh teamed up with the Unbwogables on Atoti Remix which became another big hit.I think I can compare Atoti to Bank Otuch by Vicmass Luodollar .Both the original and Remix were just awesome.
I cannot tell where or when rain began to beat the three but word in the streets had it that Wickie Mosh and the Unbwogables fell out.Reason being ,Wickie Mosh must have felt played since he never received much out of the sold out Atoti Re mix.According to Wickie Mosh back then,he felt betrayed after purported revenue he received from the remix seemed not to have been commensurate with the reception the remix got. This caused a tag of war between Wicky Mosh and the Unbwogables.Soon after their fallout Wickie Mosh decided to go his own way, performing at his own shows single handedly and doing parallel business same way he began. He is said to have performed last in Mombasa before meeting his untimely death in a Nairobi road accident.Wicky Mosh, was returning home from the Chaguo La Teeniz awards ceremony at the Carnivore in Nairobi when he was hit by a bus near the Roysambu roundabout in Thika Road.He struggled for his life at Kenyatta National Hospital.
... Questions as to whether Wicky Mosh died a natural death only God Knows.Did his death come from the hands of man? No one knows . It was however sad to note that the two  Unbwogables never attended Wicky Mosh funeral. Why would they skip such an important life event of a colleague and brother even if they had disagreed on certain issues. It wasn’t going to coast them anything if they decided to. Anyway lemmie not blame the Unbwogables much because I do not understand the intensity of what broke them apart.About why the duo quit music only them can tell. We are happy they are both doing well on radio as we speak.”

All food has been eaten up and so we have to get up to leave room for other customers to enjoy their meals in the one-bench kibanda .The two are beginning to get uneasy with my too many questions making them very uncomfortable. I still insist I want to hear something about Mighty Kingkong even if it means buying another round of paper bag drinking water. Luckily for me it only costs ksh5.Meaning I have to part with another ksh15 .All in all the story has to continue so we take a short stroll together.

KingKong
“One other  musician Kenyans regreted losing was Mighty Kingkong”, I begin .Then they pick up jointly this time with a lot of destruction from the busy streets.

“ He not only did good music bt also played a major role in trying to unite artistes at all times and most vividly during the funeral of Wicky Mosh.I remember during that time other  Royalmedia stations had not been born. Citizen radio was always one step ahead of all other stations .Reminds me of papa Nasty back then, how he put Mighty Kingkong to task in ensuring such differences especially the one which occered between Wicky Mosh and Unbwogables were not to occur again.I 2007 after performing live at the ODM Pentagon rally which went down at the Nyayo Stadium,Kenyans were again slapped by the sad news that Mighty Kingkong was no more.King Kong passed on a  Tuesday at 5.50pm while undergoing treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi. Sources close to the artiste clearly confirmed that the artiste was not ill and neither did he have a serious medical condition prior to his performance. I remember very well the pentagon team promised him a job in the Persons With Disability docket if the coalition was to win the elections. His demise has up to date left Kenyans asking very many questions .Was he Killed ? If yes,who did it and why ? or did he just die a honorable death ?. “

They sign out and we take different routes. Am struggling with my conscience on how cruel the industry has been for some of our fallen heroes, leave alone Wicky Mosh,Poxy Presha and Kingkong but also the likes of E-Sir who succumbed to a grisly road accident after leaving a Nakuru Concert. Thank God his colleague Nameless came out of it alive and lives to tell the sad story ever since then.Angela Chibalonza’s story is another long one ,lets end it at that
E-Sir

.My question is ,did our Superstars have to die young ? Why ? Wasanii mkae rada .

Fighting couples

 By Mkikuyu Mjaka

Relationships come in many packages. Some too short, some quite long lasting while a good number full of jokers. Any serious woman would tell you that it takes any man to appear for a date in the name of an appointment but rather a real man to stick to the true values of what a lasting relationship requires. Romance doesn’t lie in the obvious things men do for love from dinner dates to shopping, swimming ,movies, selfie moments  , posh rides, expensive weddings  or even beach vacations but rather the little things men assume and take for granted . Yes you call her every two hours, text the whole night, send her credo ,visit each other and most often have pillow fights after couple showers but do you ever take your time to know more about what’s troubling her on the inside. Reminds me of the reason why most ladies usually prefer to spend more time with their BaeFF’s than sweet hearts. Bottom-line they choose to confide in such close friends because of the fear of unknown   . Maybe or maybe not you were too busy focusing on just but a part of her. All you know are her favourite food, joints, movies, kicks, wears e.t.c .How about when she wakes up with a swollen face probably because she didn’t get enough sleep last night reason being she had something unfolding up her sleeves but was never sure of whether to share it with you or not. I believe any sensitive man would not hesitate to use the common phrases such as “ Oh my God what happened to your face, can I get you an ice bag ?” and it stops there .she replies by saying “ Don’t mind ,I just didn’t have enough sleep “ .And then you go straight ahead to yester night’s favourite  Tv program just like that! Dude you are not straight. Come on she didn’t even have time to watch that comedy or fashion thingie you are talking about  because she was stressed up .About what? That should be your next question whether she mentions it or not. Women love stubborn guys. They are more open and comfortable to inquisitive people than just rather statues .Remember I used the word ‘inquisitive’ and not ‘nagging’ mark my words. Whenever you take your time to dwell more on what’s making your woman uncomfortable, there you go .You will be the right person ever to fit in her shoes. Leave alone her P**sy.
I believe it’s easier to say “Will you marry Me ?” than to say “ I’m pregnant “ or “ I think we need to get tested” .In short our men of today prefer a lot of show offs to just meeting life head on. Being real, gentle, having the caring heart and it doesn’t end there. Women are more attached to soul mates who mention doctors more often than they mention the barman or liqor brands . Men who are more approachable with more real life questions than just life’s   luxuries. When he is busy playing Fifa or betting ahead of the next international football match  on his handset  you are trying to put Google to task in trying to know more about the signs and symptoms of pregnancy or Sexually transmitted disease, how  to become a good wife, signs of a cheating husband or even barrenness .Trust me women have a lot in the head to deal with no wonder we cannot blame them much for the many mood swings they carry forward into a day even meant to turn out great. As a man you need to learn how to know your woman is upset. Learn to know when they are stressed and how to tell whether they had a great day or night. It’s called love-telligence.

For instance when a woman texts you with one word thrice, she is mood less. When she texts you with one letter, dude you need to apologize, it’s about you so find out where you went wrong. When she says “ we need to talk “ ,hurry up bro she needs the talk like yesterday .How you react to the talk determines the future of that relationship. It’s never about who paid  the bill or rather who was present at the board . A lot of men will not agree with me on this. It is easier for a man to jump from a relationship to the next but never easy for a woman to say “let’s call it quit” .Any woman who utters such words is always finding out whether you will agree to it or not. Now you are on the know .Send us an email via bonyezastar@gmail.com if you need us to spy on a cheating partner .
