Speaking via his social media pages in a long post Dr.Alfred Mutua wrote
''Today I have visited Kaviani, Nzaikoni, Kauti, Itulu, Ithaeni and Mbuuni in Lower Kaewa, Kathiani sub county to demonstrate to the residents why they should choose development over empty politics through Maendeleo Chap Chap party.
I spoke about our primary objective, which is to deliver speedy development to improve the wellbeing of our people. That MCC paradigm has been at the forefront of delivering essential services to citizens of Machakos county.
And there's no doubt that we have the largest tarmac cover on our roads compared to any county in Kenya.
Basic social services remain a top priority; we have made available quality health care in all our hospitals, our local tourism is thriving and consequently growing our economy. We embarked on a journey of building a strong foundation for future generation believing that it is possible.

The feud between Machakos gubernatorial aspirants Mr. charming and Mrs Gorgeous could be getting dirtier as polls near.
